For the last 16 days me, Amin and Ahmed have done a really brutal route from Zabid to Sanaa. A really unique experience and at this time of the war, unique! A most amazing trip, 20 km per day through mountains, valleys, rivers, gee, how did we make it?
Expedition Yemen By Camel started in Wadi Zabid the 8th of December 2011. The team was me, Ahmed Ali Hassan from Tihama and Amin Mussawi from Ibb as a translator assigned by the police. The first part, 380 km:s, two weeks, very little roads...to Sanaa, the capital.
